Cancer Ribbons

The Stephen and Barbara Slaggie Family Cancer Education Center is hosting a free video series to celebrate National Cancer Survivors Day. This event is open to cancer survivors, family members and caregivers. A separate track is available for English- and Spanish-speaking viewers.

Beginning June 6, and continuing thereafter every Monday in June, a different video featuring cancer survivorship topics from health care experts and cancer survivors will be available. You can join these events through Mayo Connect, Mayo Clinic's secure social media platform. The videos will be posted each Monday at 8 a.m. CDT.

Here is the video lineup:

  • June 6
Kathryn Ruddy, M.D., a Mayo Clinic medical oncologist, will present "Cancer Survivorship in 2021."
  • June 7
John Shin, M.D., National Cancer Institute, will present "Diet and Cancer: Does It Make a Difference?"
